Nyaano 1 - Hajimari Hajimari
a.k.a. - Meow 1, 'Beginning Beginning'.EXTERNAL
"There are strange noises coming from inside Taruto's new house! Could it be a ghost, or a monster?! Whatever it is, Taruto has to use her magic to protect her beloved master from harm!"

"The cat's in the world of Magical Meow Meow Taruto seem to walk and talk like little people with cat ears and tails. But really, the cats only look that way to each other! Humans just see them as ordinary, four-legged cats. And humans also can't understand what the cats are saying. All that humans hear is 'meow, meow, meow, meow, meow!'"
Nyaano 2 - Saita Saita
a.k.a. - Meow 2, 'Blossom, Blossom'.EXTERNAL
"The man who lives next door tells Taruto that he is hoping his garden will blossom with kittens in the spring! Taruto wants to see the kittens, so she's going to use her magic to make it spring right away!"

"When Iori and Kinako leave the house for a walk, they are going to introduce themselves to their new neighbours, and give them some of Iori's homemade cookies. Later, the man next door gives Taruto a cookie and she likes it a lot because it tastes like Iori's cookies. Well, that's because the cookie was actually made by Iori!"
Nyaano 3 - Mukashi Mukashi
a.k.a. - Meow 3, 'Long, Long Ago'.EXTERNAL
"Taruto has found a wonderful secret place to play: a triangle-shaped empty lot! But how can she keep out unwanted visitors? And what will she do when she finds out the sad history of the place?"

"At the end of this episode, you see the ghost of Miss Torte at the top of the tree in the empty lot, drinking from a bottle of Liquid Cinnamon. This is because, as Geppei said, the master of the lot must drink Liquid Cinnamon at the top of the tree, and Miss Torte is the true master of the lot! But she doesn't mind if people come to visit."
Nyaano 4 - Nokotta Nokotta
a.k.a. - Meow 4, 'Fight! Fight!'.EXTERNAL
"Chips and Nachos are two little cats who are always causing trouble in Okashina City. Taruto decides that it is her duty as the Kinka Princess to protect the people of the city; and use her magic powers to make Chips and Nachos change their wicked ways!"

"It may appear that Chips and Nachos are using magic, but really it is nothing more than tricks. They use drugged smoke bombs to make others think they see things that aren't there. Chips and Nachos also use drugged smoke to confuse people's minds and make them lose their way so they can never reach wherever it is they are trying to go."
Nyaano 5 - Pera Pera
a.k.a. - Meow 5, 'Babble Babble'.EXTERNAL
"Taruto and her friends are very worried about a sad-looking old cat named Moose, who isn't allowed out of his house. For some reason, Charlotte is especially upset about it. And she is determined to do something to help!"

"When Charlotte escaped from the pound, she was a very scared little kitten with no where to go and no one to take care of her. She didn't even have a name! The first cat Charlotte met in Okashina City was Chitose. Even though she was just a kitten herself, Chitose decided that she would look after Charlotte! In fact, Chitose even gave Charlotte her name."
Nyaano 6 - Chika Chika Kira Kira
a.k.a. - Meow 6, 'Twinkling, Sparkling'.EXTERNAL
"Taruto's master, Iori, is devastated when a special little bottle is stolen! Taruto is determined to help! But she's going to need all her magic, and the help of her friends, to get Iori's precious bottle back and make him happy again."

"Chips usually isn't very nice but this time she actually returned the bottle she stole! Because when Nachos accidentially broke one of her bottles, Chips realised that it doesn't feel very good to loose something special to you. She didn't like making someone else feel that way and gave the bottle back; which just proves she's not really that bad after all."
Nyaano 7 - Chirin Chirin
a.k.a. - Meow 7, 'Ring-A-Ling-A-Ling'.EXTERNAL
"Shiozu Beach is supposed to have a snack shop that makes the most delicious snow cones anywhere! Iori wants to go try one, but the shopping arcade that leads to the beach is haunted! Will Taruto be able to save Iori from the ghosts?!"

"Natsu Ando, the girl that Taruto meets at the snack shop on Shiozu Beach, is different from any of the other humans Taruto has met. Though Taruto doesn't seem to realize it, Natsu is able to understand what cats are saying! This is because Natsu is not an ordinary human, she is a ghost! But she is a very nice ghost who likes having kitty visitors."
Nyaano 8 - Naisho, Naisho
a.k.a. - Meow 8, 'Secrets, Secrets'.EXTERNAL
"When Taruto goes on a hike up Mount Ararei, she and Gallette are seperated from their owners in a strange mist. After the mist clears, they find themselves in a mysterious place like nowhere they have ever been before!"

"Although the entire Kinka royal family, with the exception of the baby princess, was killed in the Byou uprising a long time ago, there were many other Kinka that lived! Ever since, those surviving Kinka have been living living in hiding and fighting they Byou Empire to try and regain their kingdom. Priestess Saburet and her friends are some of those Kinka."
Nyaano 9 - Teku Teku
a.k.a. - Meow 9, 'Tromp, Tromp'.EXTERNAL
"Taruto and her friends meet an old Iriomote wild cat called Nougat, who has come to Okashina City. He is trying to reach a country that is very far away and has been travelling for a long time. Can Taruto's magic help him get where he wants to go?"

"The name of the country Nougat is trying to get to, 'Ameringo', is a play on the name 'America'. But in Japanese 'amee-ringo' also means 'candy apple'. And Candy and Jelly Beans aren't the only characters named after sweets, almost all of the characters and places in the show are named after different kinds of sweets from all over the world!"
Nyaano 10 - Hara Hara
a.k.a. - Meow 10, 'Shudder, Shudder'.EXTERNAL
"The evil Byou have come to Okashina City, and they're after Taruto! Is it possible that she really is the legendary Princess of the Kinka after all? The Byou seem to think so, and they won't stop until they have Taruto in their clutches!"

"Unlike her friends, Taruto and Chitose, Charlotte does not have a home. She is a stray cat with the street smarts to prove it! But Charlotte is still well taken care of. There are many people in town who are very fond of Charlotte and happily give her food and attention whenever she comes to visit. So really, all of Okashina City is Charlotte's home!"
Nyaano 11 - Doki Doki
a.k.a. - Meow 11, 'Scary, Scary'.EXTERNAL
"Taruto's friends are dong everything they possibly can to keep the Byou from catching her! They they don't realize that someone else is also looking for Taruto, and that the grief-stricken Anzuko may be an even greater threat than the Byou!"
INTERNAL
"Although Anzuko does spend a lot of time trying to catch Taruto, she does not mean her any real harm. The last thing Anzuko wants is make Taruto unhappy. Anzuko just wants to groom Taruto so she looks pretty, and spol her the way she does all her other cats. But Anzuko doesn't understand that Taruto can't be happy if she isn't with Iori."
Nyaano 12 - Medetashi Medetashi
a.k.a. - Meow 12, 'Happily, Happily Ever After'.EXTERNAL
"Taruto has been captured by the Byou! And if they reach the well at Castella Hall, Taruto may never see her home again! Who can save Taruto? And will the truth about whether or not Taruto is the Kinka Princess finally be revealed?"
INTERNAL
"Even though both Taruto and Pie possess magical abilities, Pie's magic is much stronger than Taruto's. And Pie has no trouble controlling her magic. Pie has spent most of her life in Ganache, where she has been leading the fight against the Byou empire. But sometimes Pie would visit Taruto, helping her and giving her advice whenever she could."
